French Toast

 This is a recipe that was in my mom's recipe card box.  It is labeled as being from Aunt Merle and from Betty Crocker.  Not sure what makes it special, but she enjoyed it enough to make a card.  

 

2 eggs

1/2 c milk

1/4 t salt

 

Mix all ingredients.  Dip french bread or regular slices of bread into mixture.  Let soak a minute or two.  Put bread onto cookie sheets either sprayed with cooking spray or lined with parchment paper.  Bake at 500 degrees for ten minutes.  Serve with syrup or sugar and cinnamon.
