Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff

This is a simple and tasty.  It's pretty saucy.  If you don't like that, then add more meat.  


2 t beef bouillon granules
1 c boiling water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
9 ounces mushrooms, sliced
1 large onion
3 minced garlic cloves
1 T Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 pounds round steak, trimmed and cut into strips
2 T vegetable oil
8 ounce package cream cheese, cubed

Dissolve bouillon in water.  Add soup, mushrooms, onion, garlic and Worcestershire sauce.  In a skillet brown meat in oil.  Transfer to slow cooker with other ingredients.  Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or until meat is tender.  Stir in cream cheese until smooth.  Serve over pasta.
