Baked custard

 1 pint milk

2 eggs

1/2 t vanilla

4 T sugar


Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, salt, vanilla and nutmeg. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add milk. Pour into buttered custard cups. Place cups in pan of hot water. Bake at 350° For 20-30 minutes.  Test with a knife when it comes out clean custard is done.
