Hot Fudge Sauce
1 c sugar
1/2 c half and half
2 T corn syrup
2 T butter
1 t vanilla
1-2 squares bitter chocolate
Pinch of salt
Melt chocolate and butter. Add sugar and corn syrup with half and half, adding alternately and stirring constantly. Add salt. Simmer gently for five minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Serve warm.
